While yesterday was Tax Day (we got an extra day this year because of a Holiday), it was also the first Business Day of the 2011 Postal Rate increase… Whoo Hoo!!!
Ok, not really that excited. But as with most companies in this day and age, the USPS is struggling to make ends meet with the high cost of fuel, Logistics, and of course the ever increasing Employee Benefits agreements they have to deal with.
The good news is that targeted the rates as to not affect the First Class rate which always dampers Direct Mailers moods. As many of you have asked, here are the most common rates used in presorted First and Standard Mail Classes.
If you have any questions, please contact us and we can provide additional information on these or how you might be able to save postage on your next mailing project.
